I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Purple shirt & shirt as skirt, black sheer dress – Warsaw secondhand shop (all for £5, love it), Brogues – Office, Coat – Anywho x Kobra, Warrior Bag – WWA courtesy of The Olive Shoppe; Thank you Oliwia for helping with shots!

I’ve officially hit the back wall of my mother’s wardrobe – managed to find a nest of badgers back there but now this means I have nothing else to steal, and it’s been long since the original contents of my suitcase have been used and abused. Oliwia and I dropped by one of those second-hand stores where they sell clothes by the weight, after basically sifting through ‘history of trash and trend’, managed to score these shirts and two other items for a grand total of £6. Dig at polyester dump by day, live vicariously window surfing dresses and jackets by night, why naturally. Funny, I arrived in Warsaw late February with half a suitcase thinking I’d be here a week, two weeks tops. Then things deteriorated at the visa end and now I’m entering my 7th week… had someone told me beforehand I’d have brought a colouring book or something. The visa is out now (hot line thank you’s to the Big Man), so I’ll be returning to London in May.

Still some time to vote for mama here! (London region kiss) (Thank you so much x)

Maciej Zień boutique , ul. Mokotowska 57

Not sure what kind of courage beverage I drank in the morning before my breakfast Red Bull but A and I were walking by the Maciej Zień boutique and I caught myself climbing the steps. Usually with my chronic case of boutique-phobia I either need to pick a nail or ten outside the doors before mustering up the courage to push through the heavy doors, or hire a guide dog and a long stick… (This being the reason I’ve never been inside a Chanel boutique, as ironic as that sounds) I guess I know that I don’t belong when my two-month rent is hanging from hangers. Well, if we’re using that conversion method then I guess this boutique is real-estate bonanza. Zień is famous for dressing Polish celebrities; his designs exude an understated elegance, mostly expressed in the choice of fabric and draping methods. Frankly though, I’m a little puzzled by the haute pricing considering how young and domestic the brand is, but who am I to judge?

A few important notes regarding servers and giraffes:  It looks like, for the past few months, I’ve been putting on some weight on my current hosting account and managed to invade past my bandwidth, CPU and memory usage borders. This just means I’ve been blessed with you all visiting, so thank you, most important of all.

As some may have seen a few days ago, the lords of servers had to resort to shoving me in solitary confinement for crossing the line, (‘Account Suspended’), and now I’ve had to purchase a dedicated server to keep the blog afloat. (The server will cost a hefty $150 a month :( boo). I’ve already mentioned this, I will not have sideline advertisements in my blog for your viewing pleasure, but in some posts you may see this sort of thing except with me on my knees in the background grovelling for sponsors. So I just wanted to ask for a broad mind when at times you see a sponsored post or a campaign that might be slightly annoying. Don’t worry, I still have full reign over content, so none of those giveaways with follow me on twitter, facebook, bloglovin, attic, dark alley, etc etc.

UK winners for the Furla candybag have been updated in the winner post, apologies for the delay!

UK Winners will be announced tonight after the Furla event!

Apologies for looking like I jumped town last night, the server suspended my account without notice for excess CPU and RAM usage. For those who have no idea what this means basically the unicorn pushed the dolphins down the slide and the giraffes drank some Capri-Sun. In other words, it won’t make much sense but you don’t have to worry about a thing. Got it all under control. LIKE A BOSS.

Congratulations to the four winners! (World) they will be further contacted through email. UK winners will be announced at the Furla Event tonight, so if you’re based in London then make your way down to Regent Street at 7pm!

I wish I could’ve given each and every one of you, especially those who left such awesome comments despite the fact that you could’ve bashed asafdafa and clicked submit. Here’s a wet smooch and the hopes that I could give you something in return over time. Thank you sincerely for your interest in this small event, and thank you Massimiliano and the Claudia Wunsch team for organizing all this!

1) T-shirt and bag – Uniqlo, Shoes – New Look; 2) T-shirt – Antoni Alison UT @ Uniqlo, Jeans – Radcliffe Jeans

Classic case of survival of the fittest in love-hate relationship with self. For now I think the score is meek nerd 2: snooty 34,005. The two points scored only recently by the almond-rose donuts and a successful parallel parking session. Of course, only to be shot down immediately by snooty when I realised the space was for the disabled – bam, fifty points.

So this is Uniqlooks for April. Don’t I just keep ending up in strange alleys lately… T-shirts this time. The only styling technique I know that involves T-shirts is doing the Japanese t-shirt fold over and over again until I’m left with something that might be from All Saints. I like a good challenge but this time you win, Uniqlo.

By the way, will happily dance for your vote here! (London region)
