Fellowship of the Tweeds (Part 2)
16th May 2013

The 2013 London Tweed Run Photo by Yu Fujiwara of Tokyobike Time for tea! Tweed blazer – Vintage Gerry Weber, Skirt – ASOS. Floral shirt – Zara. Shoes – Topshop. Bag – Warehouse. Bike – Tokyobike. Thank you Kit for the shots of moi! One does not simply partake in the Tweed Run among 499 others and not come home with 49,999 photos of tweeded butts, as Boromir might say. We spilled out into the streets, ushered by the marshals – in no particular order but close enough to each other to hold hands. Mobile boomboxes in bike baskets sang the 50′s, conversations budded up here and there while turning corners. Girls rode in heels, hands-free for some boys, and we bloggers cycled with our elbows while trying to capture every moment… At times it felt like learning to cycle all over again – half scooting, half balancing with momentum [...]

Through the glass wardrobe
19th November 2012

Little sneak-peak of the Printemps x Dior Christmas windows! And pile of meat for lunch before shopping, naturally. Here she comes! I’m here Marion, kiss me. Coat – Zara. Khaki silk shirt- Iris & Ink. Midi-skirt – ASOS. Heels – Christian Louboutin Corneille. Bag – Reiss Mira. Belt – LV via Vestiaire Collective; Outfit shots by Kit I’m sorry if lately it’s just been Paris this and Paris that, but let’s be honest, you can’t really blame me, can you. Same way you can’t blame me for sneaking out of bed in the middle of the night to eat Nutella out of the jar while burning up the refrigerator lightbulb, which is pretty much always. It’s universal magic, we all know that. And seeing that my life is spectacularly, extra, extra ordinary (mind the gap), a quick trip to Printemps in Paris with Kit for an early taste of Christmas should no doubt [...]

Perrier Jouet Party in Tokyo (14)
Magic Flute
3rd August 2012

Encyclopedia of Flowers by Azuma Makoto Happo-en Gardens, Tokyo Slingback heels, Zara. Dress, Zara. Roses garland headband, Piers Atkinson x ASOS. Clutch, Chanel. Belt, Louis Vuitton via Vestiaire Collective Slingback heels, Zara. Dress, Zara; Roses garland headband, Piers Atkinson x ASOS (similar). Clutch, Chanel. Belt, Louis Vuitton via Vestiaire Collective; Thank you Haleigh for the snaps. I don’t drink. Much, anyway. Mostly because of the house mop and my mother’s well-toned arms (from all that kimchi-making) attached to it while she’d wait at the door exactly at 11pm. If I was a minute past curfew I’d see whichever end of that mop that evening and mope in bed swearing never to drink again. OOPS! Did I say my mother hit me? I meant she locked me up in the basement sauna and fed me scraps. Anyhow, that’s my story on why even at 25 I get tipsy on nail varnish remover. So I admit [...]

Yes!
22nd December 2011

Biżuteria (Jewellery) Yes calendar launch party, Warsaw; Shoes – United Nude A presstrip to my home town, why finally! It was the idea of rocking up at the party in my own wheels (also acts as portable changing room) (also not really mine) and accommodation at a 10-star hotel with my mother as maitre d’ that made me think it’d surely be a unicorn-magical trip. Well. Breakfast in bed is quite literally breakfast in bed when the porter (slash maitre d’ slash CEO of Park family) shoves a banana under your pillow and requests I make a snap decision whether the towels go in the bathtub or back on the rails because it’s laundry day. Of course, there’s nothing snappy about said decision because I’ve been milking her Wi-fi till 4 in the morning and I might as well be holding a full-on conversation with a gargling orc under the covers. The Polish star jewellery company Yes, [...]
