Got Milk
26th September 2011

London Fashion Week, SS12; Here’s 15 shots from the streets during LFW – Am I displaying exemplar editorial skills by condensing hundreds and hundreds of shots from the five days of LFW into a neat 15? If you’d like to think like so I won’t stop you, shucks, with that rate I might as well have solved world hunger and written a book on DIY Feed the World with sachet of condensed milk attached as gift. 1- Candice Lake, 2- Nam of StreetFSN, 3- Elif with Mulberry mask, 04- Girl at Topshop Unique, 05- Anna Della Russo Prada number, 07- Rumi & PS1, 09- Dapper Matthew Zorpas, 10- The cutest shot in the world, 13- Nadia after the rain, 15- Carolina Engman surfer kitty

Streetstuff Lodz
11th May 2011

Kit & Jen Poland Fashion Week (Fashion Philosophy Łódź) Day 3 & 4 It’s high time that we cut some slack for Polish fashion – yes, I’m looking at you too, Poles in the audience. Every single Polish patron we’ve spoken to in Łódź (woodge) have at least once dropped their voices and asked meekly  ’what do you think of the fashion? it’s not great, right?’, and we were all DUDES COME ON. The organization, the crowd, the talent – I came with rather low expectations for both the city and event based on reviews from Warsaw friends and bloggers (never listening to you guys again) and in the end it turned out to be the most fun I had in a long time. It may be missing world’s top editors and latest designer frills but what Poland has that many other fashion capitals lack is the humbleness in attitude. I think [...]

Day Six Menswear Day
23rd February 2011

LFW Day 6; 23/02/2011 Am I allowed to say this? I had more fun on one menswear day than the five womenswear, and I was literally there for only an hour. Oh apparently I’m not, the boyfriend is giving me the stinkiest stink-eye that it stinks like a stinker. Now think of all the things I’d have said about male models if he wasn’t here, hotdang. No. I think I mentioned before how I find menswear much more intriguing, and it was just so much fun people watching I actually bought a coffee from that silver Lavazza truck to sit down for once, one which cost me my Canon. Well, I bought it back in the end, my truck filled with stolen Vitamin Water was selling out and they had to pay me to move out. Vitamin Water win. (Yes this might be something called product placement) Check out the Next Blog and Full Frontal [...]

Day Two: Street Style Saturday
20th February 2011

LFW Day 2; 19/02/2011; Strictly speaking courtyard is not really ‘street’, but let’s just say it is – for some reason VIPs can’t seem to use their legs to walk in like every other person, so every 15 minutes the security men would get hyped up ushering people off the cobblestones to let the shiny black car through. Otherwise it’s a courtyard. Check out the Next Blog and Full Frontal Fashion for more photos

LFW Day 2
21st September 2010

Sweater – Alexander McQueen on loan from My Wardrobe, Knit dress – Market in Lithuania, Dress – COS, Shoes – ZARA, Belt – Vintage, Bag – CADO I know this sounds like a broken record, or an overachieving techno number, but I’m just so exhausted exhausted exhausted doo-doo-beep beep….beep-de-ree-doo-doo… Would PRs like some quality coverage on shows, because it would help to receive some tickets when requested, you know. And don’t you dare email me later and ask me to blog about the lookbooks of the latest collection, or stream the show in a post. I don’t give a flying rat’s ass about which celebrity wore your brand also, neither do my readers. Thank you Jill for taking those shots of me. 1 – Susie, 2 – Nadia & Frances, 3 – Audrey, 4- Elise, 7 – Anywho girls, 8 – Kate Lanphear, 9 – Yvan & Ruby Aldridge, 10 [...]
