Red and white (high in opacity – mine is from Essie) are basically the only two colours you’ll need to rock this party but it might be fun to add a bit of LV flair and accent with a yellow, green or black. Otherwise the usual – top & base coat, toothpick or pin, scrap bit of paper to use as palette (best if laminated paper)

Mary Katrantzou for Topshop; Images via Topshop I know this news is already spreading like wildfire across the interwebz but just wanted to do a bit of heads-up from my end. Long-time readers will know I go KAKA for Mary Katrantzou so this is one designer x high street collaboration worth hollering. It’s so soon too – 17th of February – first day of LFW for the relevant bunch, and prices start from £40 but the dresses are on triple digits… not so horrific when compared to her usual five-digit frocks. Will be looking forward to some wrestling in stores next week, I bring the mat, you can bring the oil?
Page 27 of ’100 Chairs in 100 Days’ by Martino Gamper Came across this amazing book 100 Chairs in 100 Days by Martino Gamper while I was waiting for Jill in Leila’s cafe, enjoying a Polish ham & mustard sandwich and a latté. I couldn’t help but think that this is the type of approach I’d want to have towards my wardrobe – marrying the most unlikely shapes and elements, yet to be fully functional as a whole… Did someone say Park & Stool…?
