Ever after
23rd December 2012

Forever classics Mouse-over to activate numbers Creamy cashmere staples from the White Company Airbag for everyday cycling safety thanks to Chanel (Cocoon collection) of course. Barely there – Chain ring by Iwona Ludyga, Green sapphire necklace by Laura Lee and mummy’s old gold rings Second skin T by Alexander Wang (grey | black) Superhero cape for any woman – black stilettos by Christian Louboutin (Corneille Kid) The perfect red - YSL La Laque Couture 01 Rouge pop art The leather jacket (Shearling for colder seasons - Muubaa Aurora) I had it all figured out – I built a machine (The Winchester) that would guarantee survival for myself and Emma Stone (and Jennifer Lawrence, if she’s up for that kind of relationship) when the first fiery meteor of the Apocalypse hits the world. We’d sit in it, have a pint and wait for it all to blow over, then we’d step out onto a charred earth and repopulate and generally live happily ever after. [...]

Scents and Stilettos
29th May 2012

[nivoslider id="12264"] Click on the arrows to activate slideshow  Berry, berry good: Pancakes and Berries at the Breakfast Club for days that could do with a good sugary kick-start. I personally prefer to ordering an eggy something first (they do a mean Eggs Royale) and then share pancakes for dessert. #threecoursebreakfastnaturally  Ever since I was a kid I’ve been adamant about keeping bank-notes face-aligned and crease-free (what OCD?!) so I’ve only ever owned long-wallets. The size on this berry-red Chloe is perfect – especially the number of compartments – makes it easy for someone ‘loyal’ to just about every single store. The ASOS Salon collection hath finally hitteth – pictured, one of my favourite pieces. Actually would love to layer it over lots of patterns like Lesya Paramonova’s debut collection (as seen on Style Bubble.)  Scent of the season, Chloe L’eau de Parfum – Light, sweet & tangy. Sometimes I’d catch a whiff while [...]

Roll Ups and Cider Slurps
26th March 2012

Rollover to activate numbers Popped by AA while in Berlin (I swear it’s psychological, the need to visit ZARA even if you’re in the middle of a desert) – they were handing out free pots of stockroom Nail Lacquer with every purchase. Score! Finally, the season of roll-ups and light-coloured denim! Would love to give it a good slashing session a la Acne or do this again. Cosy outdoor space spotted at the Breakfast Club in Islington (31 Camden Passage); imagining a sunny Sunday brunch with a blanket over your lap while the last breeze of winter pass under the table. Instant mood-lifter and favourite silk scarf of the moment – artist Gene Meyer for Alice & Olivia SS12 Pastel pink sandals by Zara, pairs perfectly with boyfriend jeans and plain white shirt (2) Mexicana! This and a beach-side seafood dinner please. (Tapas in Marbella sounds good!?) ASOS Mexican print skater dress Winter sale [...]

Salmon and Shoeshelf
27th January 2012

Rollover to activate numbers Apartamento, one of the few magazines I’d happily  allocate some time to read. Published in Spain, they focus on interior but mostly full of quirky stories of space and life which is what makes it so good. . Silk & Sheer, sounds like a hair product, no? Heating up the flat to Springtime degrees because somebody has no patience. Carin Wester silk shirt (via Heilee), American Apparel Chiffon Camisole in Apricot That Natalia Vodianova for Stella McCartney photo just makes me happy for some reason, must be the polkadots and Natalia’s babyface. Someone please tell me what you call this colour, Indigo? Anyway, matches with all my indigo pieces in my wardrobe, which is like, totally, none. From ASOS. It was either alphabetical order or sort by colour, but then what kind of stupid considers sorting shoes by alphabetical order? (me :() (ASOS to United Nude) Thanks to manual labour by [...]

Mood Rail and Pots of Cream
19th November 2011

Oatmeal sweater for cycling adventures There’s that one sweater that goes with absolutely everything. I was contemplating the pink version of this at ASOS but decided I just might not be coherent enough in the morning to even consider making pink work. Favourites from the DIY box By the time I’m done with those friendship bracelets that ship may have sailed… Time to call it vintage then? The mood rail I like to keep a few key pieces for the season separate so in the confusion of learning my name anew while scoffing down breakfast and slapping makeup on in the morning things would simply be easier. Twigs and bars Favourite pieces of the moment: Young Frankk 3-bar necklace & Twig Solitaire ring by Michelle Oh Sheer Aztec dress from ASOS Fell in love with the fact that it’sheer enough to see every single goosebump during the colder seasons. Pair it [...]
