I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Thank you Kit for the shots!!

I can hear outfit repeat! in the crowd, who was that, come up to the stage let me do a song for you. Indeed you’ve seen something similar before, (this one?) what with the same socks that I didn’t wash since then and all… but World, the supreme purpose of the style section of this blog has just been revealed. The reason, for the dogged efforts at having outfit posts, is to serve relief during preparation of an important event where I’ve not mustered enough courage to step out of the hot water into the cold air in the shower and ended up spending half the getting-ready time under water… without an outfit planned. The archive is plentiful, and plagiarising your own stuff is probably as legal as this.

  10. They say you can’t plagiarize your own papers in school, but I’m sure that plagiarizing your own outfits from your own blog is legit. As is a cocaine tiger. Man, that just sounds hardcore. Way too hardcore. Seriously though, that picture was ridiculous and made me laugh.

    I do love how your outfit is a mix of old fashioned, then some radical print mixing and heavy duty body pieces and leather. Like, dang gurl.

    Sorry to say, but your blog has become REALLY boring. Whatever happened to DIY and staying true to yourself. But I don’t blame you… I guess it is just fashion bloggers fate. Good Night and Good Luck.

  29. thanks for your honest opinion. Mine’s that I have absolutely NO time to do DIY while trying to stay afloat being unemployed. Good luck finding another blog, there’s loads out there that does DIY. Thanks for following so far.

    @Shini,

    Shini,

    I realize my comment was quite harsh. I could and should have been more diplomatic about it. And if I hurt your feelings, I am sorry.

    I have been following your blog for a while and I REALLY appreciate your work. Seriously, I do. But here’s where the boring part comes in: You said yourself your blog has evolved from DIY experimentation to showcasing the nice (amazing, beautiful etc) clothes you own/get from people, and technically the latter is what most fashion blogs are about. I appreciate your style, your crazy sense of humor and your talent for all things design/photography. But what attracted me most to your blog was your ‘organicness’ and your ‘doing it yasself’ attitude. While you still have that ‘organicness’ in you, in the DIY days you took on tasks which showed off the artisan Shini. I just had the impression it required you to think more about fashion and use your hands not just to shoot and edit but to create beautiful unique things. You were a creator and carefree and just artistic in your own way and I just loved that about this blog. I’ve never taken on any of the projects that you’ve dispalyed on your blog, so I did not come here to rip your ideas. I came to marvel at the great things that you made yasself. I felt they said more about your understanding of fashion than your skill of putting outfits together. Some people may consider putting outfits together an artistic undertaking but I think it’s a skill that anyone acquire with time. And since that part of creating has gone missing recently I spastically decided to blurp out unconstructive (is that a word?) criticism at ungodly hours.

    Sorry I’m totally rambling now. I know you understand where I am coming from. You are Shini from Park and CUBE after all.

    Good Night and Good Luck

    Melanie
