I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Floral jacket – ZARA, Shirt – Motel Rocks Wallflower shirt, Jeans – MiH Jeans, Shoes – Chloe Sevigny x Opening Ceremony, Bag – Cambridge Satchel Company via Mybag, Downvest – Uniqlo, Down jacket – UC of Benetton

I’ve just managed to extract myself from a corner where I’ve been ironing shirts for the past goodness-knows-how-long hours, the least I can say is that the sun was up when I started and now it’s fizzled away into matte charcoal – at least now with the low light the hubby won’t be able to spot the ‘SOS‘ I’ve written with blade-sharp creases under the arms until much later. My new mission is now to starve him so his shirts collection does not collectively equal a football stadium in fabric acre and we won’t have to spend our entire savings on electricity bills owed mostly to ironing. Yes, this has nothing to do with the outfit – I just had to ramble somewhere,  hopefully during his toilet break at work he will spot the SOS  while passing a mirror and in the same hour also read this post while sipping economist coffee. I love you! I promise!

  3. I am so reluctant when it comes to iron clothing, can’t quite recall when was the last time I did! (thank goodness for steamers, I guess?) And adore the floral motif in your look, you blossom perfectly in them. x

Love your outfit by the way, it’s so flowery, but not patchy or too garish at all… What kind of sorcery is this?! xx

  10. Oh, how I hate ironing! My husband & I have a rule: he irons his clothes, I iron mine… and since I don’t have any clothes that need ironing, it’s up to him to iron his shirts how he wants.

  43. Perhaps he could look into taking his shirts to a laundry service? They’ll come back nicely pressed and the extra money spent would be worth your time [& utilities :-) ], I’m sure. I love the jacket! Has a slightly Japanese feel to it. Which inspires me to wear one of my floral Winter Kate silk jackets tomorrow. I’ve been down with the flu and a bit tired of all the black and grey…could use a bit of brightening up.

  44. Those jeans look incredible on you! Love the clash-y flowers xx

  45. love!

  50. I think I’m extracted a lot of button down shirts from my wardrobe because I can’t stand the wrinkles yet, at the same time, I’m rather reluctant towards ironing– rather makes me miss the days when my mum ironed my school shirts for me. Love the combination of the floral jacket and red satchel. It certainly seems like you’ve been keeping stylishly warm! xx
