Jacket - Zemełka Pirowska, Shoes – Kurt Geiger, Sweater – Quiksilver, Dress – 18 and East, Bag – Coach, Scarf – H&M

I think I’m finally making friends with the fringe… of course when it’s not busy snogging the hairpin under a pile of hay or camping in a wig. OK fine, the hairpin is my doing, and I did go on an impulse wig-purchasing spree at YesStyle… but once again, it’s difficult to manipulate the thing at all without the aid of a hairdryer! And besides, I keep buying kebabs with the money. Don’t mind the nerd glasses and its horn-rimmed glory, I lost one of my contacts on my trip to Azerbaijan (more on that later!) and it was either cross-eyed ‘that black-blotch-better-be-the-camera’ shots or pirate eyepatch… lucky for you it’s neither.

Boots courtesy of Kurt Geiger for the These Boots are Made for Walking series in their blog, shpank you! Also shpank you to dear hubby for the photos.

This is a great post, I love the jacket. It is amazing! I really like your use of layering too, it would be cool if you could do a break down of what you wore beneath as I tend to get layering wrong and it can be very unflattering. You look wonderful in the boots too but I odnt think I could pull those off. I would probably wear this with a bobble hat, mittens and my grey or black Ugg boots.

Why people make fun of glasses all the time? Im constantly stucked with wearing them as well, and I hate feeling like im less because i wear glasses.

  33. Aw man your glasses are cute! Should I ever be in need of a pair of spectacles I shall be asking you where you acquired yours from (in fact I might just buy some anyway…)

I have a love-hate relationship with my fringe (namely the great stonking cowlick in the middle that has to be straightened out every day). We’re cool though. Bros.

  38. I love how you combined different patterns. And the boots make the outfit perfect with their shape and color. :) about the fringe: I also had fringe few years ago and I know how sometimes becomes a nightmare manipulate it. I can recommend you to put some dry shampoo on the fringe and then comb them in the opposite way of growth to make some volume. Then slightly comb them in the right way. I hope this was helpful :)
