I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Socks – Tabio, Bag – Furla Candybag, Nailpolish – Chanel Peridot

I’m having a thing for sheer socks right now and so far haven’t seen anyone do it better than Tabio… Je m’excuse for short burst posts of late, I arrived in Milan late last night with high hopes of editing gazillian photos in the hotel lounge but of course I arrive potato-faced with two pieces of dry plastic in my eyes and the bed looks like it gives good hugs… I’m off to a press conference now with Milla Jovovich (x Campari), maybe I’ll grow some balls and ask her how it feels to gut zombies! …which will get me kicked out of the room but I’ll be known in Italy as ah si that zombie blogger and that’s always a good title.

Have a luuvely Thursday, ciao!

Jacket – Barbour, Bag – Coach, Boots – Topshop

Just a few things that’s become my everyday grab before wheeling the Chinawoman out to work. In fact, they’ve become this ‘shell’ I slip out from when I get home in the evening, then it’s go get a cup of tea and sit in front of the washing machine till the episode is over and the credits go up… and in the morning I just slap some ‘makeup’ on and slither back in. Pretty exciting crustacean I make I must say.

Khaki quilted Barbour jacket – Perfect light windbreaker; Coach suede bag (massive thanks to tcs & Coach) – Otherwise known as Mary Poppins bag, i.e fits the Canon camera so it must be magical (must try lamp…); and Topshop Ambush chelsea boots – best heel height for cycling! I’ve actually considered saving up for the Acne Pistols but I think the conclusion was that I prefer 103 kebabs for the money…

Rumour has it that in my absence I’ve acquired a job as a professional bricklayer in a dusty little corner in Brazil; married my highschool sweetheart and spread honey on the moon in a windy island in Greece; had a few kids – mostly twins and triplets; shaved my head and attacked the tripod with an umbrella. Partially true, especially the twins and triplets bit – took two visits to IKEA to get shelves for them to sleep on. Again, I won’t apologize for ‘not blogging’, it’s pretty clear you didn’t continuously peck on the F5 (refresh) key every day of the past 2 weeks… although this has been the longest I’ve gone without putting anything up. Who knew the momentum of not-blogging is as powerful as blogging non-stop? The ball started rolling and I just couldn’t stop – not this ‘blog’ ball, the ‘life’ ball. I have many balls, apparently. Admittedly there have been big changes to my life as of late, but congratulate me? I’ve finally got something that somewhat resembles a life! Hope you don’t mind if I share a few in the next few posts, but one thing at a time – starting with how I lost 10kg…

I think 2 years ago I did this one post how to cut a sweatshirt, which basically showed how to use a pair of scissors… but I promise this isn’t another instalment of the occasional My Readers are Kindergarteners posts (always unintentional!). I was starving in the bus home and googled ‘Sandwich Fillers’ – yes, of all things, wish I’d googled how to cook Pho. A trip to the Turkish store for a loaf of fresh-basked Corek bread and several failed attempt at boiling the eggs later here we are with the most random recipe post. Well, considering that my biggest feat in the kitchen of late was not burning water when making coffee, I guess we can say this was a eyebrow lifting experience. For me at least, hey don’t tease :(
