I move twice every year. Househunting in September: move #1, and in June once school ends, move everything into storage: move #2. This is move #2, hauling everything into storage. All evidence of my London life is divided in boxes now, moving sucks balls.

Just because I was convinced that the colour was draining out of my life spending all day in a bat-ridden cave I decided to take Ellen’s invitation and crawled out today (AH SUNLIGHT, IT BURRRNS!!). I believe the best thing that brings the colours back to your life is dodging sales assistants in John Lewis while taking covert pictures of, you won’t believe it, fabric. I don’t get why it’s not allowed – what, am I going to use the photos to replicate the art of sorting zippers and ribbons? Or do I look like I don’t have enough of a life to plan a terrorist attack on a floor full of rich housewives? Actually the last bit is quite intriguing. BOOM go the annoying Chihuahuas.

I’m just JOKING for those with any allegiance to John Lewis, rich housewives and the art of ribbon sorting. I would also gladly take the photos down if you wish, just email no@not-really.com, and mind your manners please.

With all that said, I love John Lewis, rich housewives and sorting ribbons!

My first Gmarket box arrived containing 2 black bags, the beige suede jacket, white sheet dress and hey, a blue beanie as a bonus! (which, by the way, doesn’t fit my head, it does fit my fist though.)

The bags are faux-leather so I fully anticipated it to look cheap, but once you carry it a bit, the way it slouches in the right places it really doesn’t look all that bad. Then again I’m very easily pleased – I get happy when I meet a fox in the courtyard, so I may be the wrong person to be writing this review. The suede bolero/jacket thing was a bit of a disappointment though – since it’s single-sheeted, it’s got no lining fabric, so you could see the mediocre stitching. Still, it’s got a very healthy looking sheen to it and the fabric is über light for summer. Gmarket items seem to be quite similar in price and quality to H&M, so that could be a quality reference for those who were wondering. What you pay is what you get, isn’t it in most cases?

Now please excuse me, I must go restock on some sleep as my life is slipping through my fingers and running away with the milkman. Sorry for the dead-ness of late.

Sorry for the lack of posts. Would you pat me if I told you what happened last night? Nothing serious, just a big fat FAIL. I had work piled up in the to-do list – combination of schoolwork, work, emails to answer, etc… but I was so tired that I went up to sit on the bed. (jeez. not sure why) Then I jolt up and it’s bright out, I’m in the covers and all but I’m still wearing my glasses and makeup.

I don’t know how one manages to sleep in a bed with glasses on. For 10 hours.

Anyway.
