I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Feathers – Etsy, Doll made by Ellen

Going cuckoo for feathers this season (no pun intended, lollerskates) Very tempted to follow suit of Carole Gould and take advantage of a dead bird for free feathers… also won’t mind if I can find a pretty bird and assist euthanasia, for it will most definitely be in pain from some discomfort or other, like styrofoam constipation or pea-brain Alzheimer’s…

love feathers too! my mom has a owl in her garden and she collect the feather that he lost (it is the good season: animals are changing the color of their for the winter), maybe the solution is to adopt a bird! :D

  11. Love Ellen’s doll, love the editing on your photos, and I especially love the humour. Definitely a refreshing change of pace from most fashion blogs.

  17. I had a fixation with feathers last f/w season but for some reason it felt wrong on me… like i was trying to hard to be some fashionista at work…

I think in your profession/area/industry it works well with you. I work in a non-creative office. It stinks. I still love the idea of feather fascinators–if I could get away with it here in this building!

  18. I’ve been noticing feathers more lately… especially those oily black ones.

But seriously, PLEASE do not pick up flowers off of a dead bird! They are covered in parasites… ick.

  19. I’ve featured your great chained denim shorts on a collage-post on my blog :)

  21. I’m waiting for the day my cat stops bringing in mangled pigeons and instead I get something good, like a pheasant. Useless cat.

okay. for those of us who love animals and want to punch you in the face for saying something so stupid. please note that there are synthetic type feathers at craft stores, really nice ones, ranging from hawk to peacock so that no birds will be harmed in the making of such a fad. that u will not wear next year anyway. please consider other lives when making such frivolus human desires.
