I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

the delaunay

Sure, they’re known for wieners. Lots of different type of wieners. In fact, go for wieners, but the mittel European vibe at the Delaunay is not complete without oysters on ice to start.

Your search for the best burger is over. The cheeseburger topped with Niman Ranch all-natural applewood smoked bacon, chopped cherry pepper and ShackSauce goes famously with a side of crinkle-cut fries and a pint of Oreo shake is match made in heaven. And, as one Sheldon Cooper would say, the burgers come with a satisfying meat-to-bun-to-condiment ratio. (Avoid peak hours unless queuing is a hobby)

go for a run on victoria embankment
victoria embankment, WC2R

One of the best running routes the city has to offer, the riverside embankment. Opt for an early morning jog when the streets are bare from tourists. Up one bank and back the other, follow signage, or not. I usually follow the smell of breakfast. Beats views from any gym treadmill.

  1. My main thought for this entire post: “damn if this layout isn’t completely gorgeous”. Perfect!

  2. I’m definitely a nike’s fan, but this has got me thinking!

And I’m so curious to try a burger from Shake Shack!

  3. Sarah

Your trench outfit is pretty much perfection. And these Adidas are pretty badidas i.e. badass. And shake shack ftw!

  4. Wonderful post!

I actually live in Covent Garden, so it is nice to see what you like in this area! I would say that New Row Coffee is my favourite place for a coffee: they even do coffees with homemade almond milk! I love the Delaunay too; such a classy place!

And of course going for a long run along the Thames with a loop or two in St James park is one of the other advantages of living here.

Another two places I would recommend are Coco de Mer and Champagne + Fromage.

  5. You basically made eating out at Shake Shack & running (??!) look glamorous as hell. I look like total crap when I run.

Who am I kidding? I don’t run. Still, this post was pretty damn awesome. Definitely craving food & coffee now.

  6. Hello! I just want to tell you how much I enjoyed this post. The photography is beautiful as it the layout and the styling. It is so good to see such a wonderful blog. Keep doing the amazing job that you are doing.

and I could just tell that something was wrong. Try breaking out of your comfort zone and join an activity( walking group, running, badminton, mountain biking, etc.

First thought: “Woah there, hot mama…”Looking too good for just a run. Gotta fan myself.
BEAUTIFUL photos, as always! Pretty curious about the Burberry Beauty Box color-matching bit and how it works. I have tan skin and I’ve always been on the hunt for a nice nude or blush color for the lips (since forever, ughh). Unless you’re referring to a perfect match for foundation? Gotta bookmark this post even though I won’t be taking a trip out of the US anytime soon. Would looove to visit London… When you have blogger sales I’m just crying at home.

  12. Wow, this is a great collaboration! Saving it :D

  74. too enjoyable a blog post here- I love the fresh new ways you come up with to present your posts! This is the fifth post I’ve read in a row so far, and without a doubt I’m going on to the next. Just gonna pause here and say something – your writing is one of a kind. And might’ve convinced me that my previous trip to London wasn’t complete. (Is it ever?)
